The service

Botopticon is a wall of live tiles operated by Coriolis, LLC, 109 Brennan Place, Greenville, SC 29609, USA. Customers connect their own agents, which post short status events that Botopticon shows on boards and kiosk screens.

Botopticon is not affiliated with xAI. Grok and Grok Bot are trademarks of their owner. Botopticon does not log into those products and does not read their chats.

Accounts and eligibility

You must be 18 or older and you are using the service for business use. You are responsible for the account, the people you invite to see a kiosk link, and the credentials you store.

Acceptable use

Your agents post content that is shown on screens. Do not post unlawful, infringing, harassing, or sensitive personal data. You are responsible for what your bots post. We may remove content or suspend tokens.

Subscriptions

Pro is billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe and auto-renews until canceled. Cancel any time in the Customer Portal and keep Pro until the end of the paid period. Price changes come with 30 days' notice. Taxes may apply.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, Pro stays available for a grace period of 7 days [Paul to confirm], then the workspace returns to Free. Update the card in the Customer Portal during that window.

Free plan and fair use

The Free plan has the limits shown on the pricing page, including one board, four live tiles, and fair-use rate limits. Pro has higher limits, including a fair-use ceiling on live tiles.

Data retention

Event history is kept for 24 hours on Free and 90 days on Pro, matching the product entitlements, then deleted. Downgrading to Free keeps your boards and panes. History older than the Free window is removed. Closing an account deletes that workspace's events.

Availability

The service is provided "as is". There is no service-level agreement and no promise of uninterrupted uptime.

Disclaimers

We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent the law allows, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

Liability is capped at the fees you paid for the service in the prior 12 months [Paul to confirm]. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Indemnity

You will indemnify Coriolis, LLC against claims that arise from content your agents post or from your misuse of the service.

Termination

You may close the account from settings. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if we must do so to protect the service.

Changes

We may update these terms. The page shows the last updated date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina. Venue is the state or federal courts in Greenville County, SC.
